Objective

To create a ‘Book of Truth’. This means picking a topic I personally relate with and answering a conflict question that I want to address and designing it into an effective and communicative publication.

Theme

A "little" OCD? is an illustrative coffee table book focussing on the seriousness of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, which is generally used as a casual term and commonly misunderstood.

  • Conflict Question: Is assuming that someone has a “little bit” OCD correct? Where do you draw the line between justified thinking and obsessive/compulsive behaviours?

How can I effectively use visuals and typography to demonstrate the meaning of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and the various elements that it encompasses.

  • To create a series of illustrations using drawing and type, that take inspiration from OCD elements and also depict the theme when looked at as a whole combined project.
